Provo-Orem Bus Rapid Transit Project

  • Project manager and lead landscape architect for streetscape improvements
  • Extensive street tree and shrub plantings throughout the corridor as part of a 10 mile long transportation and dedicated bus lanes project
  • 24 month design duration on a CM/GC(CMAR) project delivery type
  • Provided analysis, stakeholder input meetings, public outreach, community & city council presentation, conceptual design, 3D modeling, construction drawings, and construction observation

Belize Resort Community

  • Project landscape architect and urban designer
  • Resort community with golf course and  water front marine developments
  • Amenities included 18-hole golf course, practice range, golf clubhouse, sports club with pool and tennis complex, golf course view lots, ocean accessible marine lots, parks & open space, monument entries, preserved native areas with mangrove riparian areas.
  • Provided analysis, product mix, conceptual design, and presentation graphics

Redrock Country Club, Las Vegas Nevada

  • Project Landscape Architect for a 6 acre pool and tennis complex for a resort community
  • Amenities included resort and adult pools, splash pad, multiple tennis courts with a sunken tournament center court, shade structures, restrooms, and gathering plazas
  • Services included conceptual drawings, construction documents, cost estimates, and construction observation.
  • $1,200,000 cost of construction

Cross Hollows Master Planned Community, Cedar City UT

  • Project landscape architect for a 1500 acre mixed-use, golf course, and residential  community
  • Site consisted of heavily wooded rolling hills, valleys, and flatlands
  • Provided services in programming, stakeholders meetings, analysis, product mix, conceptual plans, entitlement process, agency presentations
  • Worked with multiple agencies including BLM, Utah School and Institutional Trust Lands Administration, and the City of Cedar City Utah

Mesquite Regional Park, Mesquite NV

  • Project manager and lead design professional for a 670 acre master plan for a recreational park and sports complex
  • Site consists of scenic topography, badlands, iconic mesa, and desert washes.
  • Identified 120 developable park acres with the remaining preserved as native open space and trails areas.
  • Programming included multiple sports fields, tennis complex, playgrounds, pavilions, promenade, various trails and trailheads, amphitheater, parking, vehicular & pedestrian circulation, and other amenities.
  • Provided services for BLM and LVCVA grant applications, BLM R&PP lease application, programming, analysis, conceptual design and master plans, 3D model, cost estimates, public outreach, agency presentation to BLM, LVCVA, and Mesquite City Council, and master plan book.
  • Estimated $55,000,000 cost of construction

South Jordan Community Core Study, South Jordan Utah

  • Project manager and lead consultant for a 280 acre redevelopment master plan
  • Site consisted of 100 acres of existing city park and 180 acres of undeveloped or underdeveloped land.
  • Programming included redevelopment of existing
  • city park with sports fields, championship stadium, tennis complex and recreation center expansion and a mixed use urban core with commercial, residential, and office development.   Development was mixed horizontally and vertically.
  • Provided services in programming, client meetings, & conceptual master plan

Whitney Mesa Recreation Area, Henderson NV

  • Project manager and lead consultant for a 100 acre regional park master plan
  • Site consisted of native creeks, badlands, flat lands, and the landmark Whitney Mesa
  • Programming included trails, trailheads, day camp, archery range, amphitheater, open play turf areas, detention basin, themed playground, vehicular and pedestrian circulation, and preserved natural areas
  • Provided analysis, programming, conceptual master plans, public outreach, and cost estimates
  • $13,000,000 cost of construction

Desert Rose Park, Mesquite NV

  • Project manager and lead design professional for a 1.7 acre neighborhood park
  • Programming included playground, large and small picnic pavilions, trails, restrooms, plazas, turf areas and other amenities
  • Provided services in stakeholder and public input meetings, analysis, conceptual plans, construction drawings, bidding services, and construction observation.
  • $600,000 cost of construction

Silver Springs Park, Henderson NV

  • Project manager and lead design professional for a 9 acre park redevelopment
  • Amenities included baseball diamond, themed playground, pavilion, picnic facilities, open play turf area, trails, paths, and parking area.
  • Services included analysis, conceptual plans, construction drawings, bidding services, and construction observation.
  • $1,400,000 cost of construction

Mesquite Trails and Trailhead, Mesquite Nevada

  • Project manager and lead design professional for trails and trailhead system
  • Site consisted of steep and hilly topography, desert washes, and sandy hills
  • Amenities included multiple trailheads, wayfinding signage and kiosks, 12′ wide paved multi-use path, 3′ wide natural surface trails in rugged terrain,  pavilions, scenic overlooks, restrooms, parking areas, detention basin.
  • Provided services in trail corridor identification, on-site trails layout, GPS remote sensing, construction drawings, bidding services, and construction observation.
  • $1,000,000 cost of construction

I-15 Landscape and Aesthetic Improvements (3 separate projects), Mesquite Nevada

  • Project manager and lead professional for landscape and aesthetic improvements on the I-15 corridor
  • Consisted of three separate projects and include
  • Grapevine Overpass, the 60 acre Exit 120, and the 60 acre Exit 122Improvements included multiple monument entry signs, bridge aesthetics for multiple structures, native revegetation, street tree and shrub plantings, and irrigation system
  • Provided services in programming, public input and outreach, agency presentations, conceptual plans, construction drawings, bidding services, and construction observation
  • Cost of Construction:
    • $1,200,000 for Exist 120
    • $600,000 for Grapevine Overpass
    • $800,000 for Exit 120

Centential Hills Park, Las Vegas Nevada

  • Project Landscape Architect
  • 20 acre first phase of construction for a 50 acre community park
  • Amenities included adventure playground, splash pad, custom designed shade structures, sand volleyball courts, lighted soccer fields, central gathering area, picnic areas, restrooms, dog park, vehicular and pedestrian circulation, parking, and desert wash.
  • Provided conceptual design, theming, city presentation, construction drawings, and cost estimates
  • $7,500,000 cost of construction
